Praising God all over this house!!!TA TA TA!!!!

First off I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!! I'm a bit late posting but things have been crazy busy since Friday! But thank God the last thing we were waiting on came!!TA TA TA!!Now China's said it is ok for us to pickup the most precious little girl ever!! We got TA on the 21st which was Friday!Wanted my girl home for Christmas so bad.But I must trust that my God knows best.But at least my precious girl knows were coming very soon to bring her home with her family!!!Sweet girl IT'S YOUR  TURN NOW BABY GIRL!! Can you imagine nine years of friends coming and going and always wondering if your turn would ever come! We'll baby girl it's YOUR TIME TO SHINE!!You'll never be pushed to the back and forgotten about again!! Can't  wait to start making up for all that lost time.Mama will do her best to help all your dreams come true!  I ask that you all please pray for safe travels and that God would prepare Aubrey's heart for all she is about to have.Were so ready to LOVE her to pieces!!My God is so amazing!!He never let's me down!! He always shows up just in time. If you don't know him you are missing out on the best friend you could ever ask for!He's always there never to busy to listen.Blessings everyone from one Very Thankful Mama!

One Emotional Mama!!

Tonight I'm so THANKFUL for so many things in my life.God has blessed me way more than I've ever deserved. I'm so thankful for my wonderful family!! I love each and everyone of them. I always knew I dreamed of being a mother.But never knew God's great plan for my amazing family!! Most people understand but some just don't! I love each of my children so so much! They all have there own special place in my heart that no one could ever replace. Tonight as I sit and watch my babies playing I just feel like crying.What if God would have never given me this amazing journey? My heart aches to have my sweet Aubrey home.She's so excited and happy to have a family!! Funny how you can love someone so much you've never met in person.Really not so funny!Just God!! God is wonderful and never fails to amaze me.I can't express the warmth my heart feels  As I see the joy in my daughter's eyes as she tells the guy taking the video she's leaving the country also.I know this will be a different experience than in the past with Aubrey being nine years old! But I think it will be amazing!! I will try and hold my self back not to scare her to death,but I tell you it will be hard not to just run and grab her up in my arms. Wouldn't it be great if she came to me with open arms!! A mama can wish can't she! I know my girl must be wondering where in the heck is my family! I would like you all to pray for safe travels and that God would prepare Aubrey's heart for her family.  I know there will be difficult times and I just pray God will be with me and help me deal with them in the best way possible. I can't wait to get my girl the medical treatment she needs. Who knows it may even hurt her know when she walks. We'll praying for speedy TA!!! Blessings everyone

ARTICLE 5 PICKED UP!!

We'll one more step down!Article 5 was picked up on the 5th so we are currently waiting on TA approval so we can bring our precious girl home!Wish I could say I was waiting patiently but were not supposed to lie! It's killing me!I need to go now. I keep telling myself God has this and his time is the perfect time. But My heart aches for my sweet girl to be home with her family. and my heart feels very happy that she is so excited that she has a family!This girl is ready to come home!!FULL SPEED AHEAD!!Now let's get this TA!!!Please add our family to your prayers.Please pray we'll ahave a wonderful safe trip and my girl will be ready to except all the love that is waiting for her. WAITING WAITING AND MORE WAITING!!

We'll my God is so totally awesome!! Just a bit of an update first. We have had our cable letter approved and are currently waiting for article 5!!Which I'm praying by the end of the week we have this so we can HURRY HURRY and get TA to get our precious girl home. Ok for some more  exciting news!!!!! I checked my email this morning and a couple who adopted Aubrey's foster sister just got home a week ago and had several videos of my precious girl.Some she looks very happy and is smiling which warms my heart!In others she looks sad. Like, I thought I had a family coming also. My heart breaks when I see this sad little confused look. I think this other little girl came to the states also and we plan to keep them in touch. I really really need my sweet girl home.I got a new email of her being tuitored in english also but I can't get it to open.I have been so upset about that I couldn't stand it.Then my God sends me these three video's of her!! He always keeps reassuring me he has this!!I know he does!!He has been so wonderful and faithful to my family thru this adoption process!! and of course our whole life's!!Prayers please that I can have my girl with her family for Christmas!!! That may mean I have to be in China on Christmas but a mama has to do what a mama has to do. Just a bit longer my percious girl!!

WOOOHOOO I800 APPROVAL

Wow, were getting closer to getting our precious girl home! Got our I800 approval yesterday!!Now waiting on the letter from NVC!!! Then article 5.It won't be long sweet girl! I need my girl here for Christmas!!! She needs to see what the holidays are like with a family!! New memories!! I'm ready to travel. My mind is racing today so much going on.Trying to make sure I have everything ready so when they say come I'll say what took you so long!!  Prayers for my family and my precious girl please!Pray God will prepare her heart and ours.Pray we will all have a wonderful safe trip. I can't wait to hug my sweety and see a big smile on that sweet little face. I can't wait to see her playing with her brothers and sisters. To know and feel how important she is and how loved she is . I can wait to see if she likes her room and all her new clothes. I just want her to be happy and feel all the love we have for her.Blessings everyone

God Bless my PRECIOUS girl!!!

Good morning everyone! First off I'd like to ask you all to add my sweet sweet girl to your prayers.That God would protect her and prepare her heart for everything she is about to have. As I get up this morning looking for an update on my precious girl as I do every morning.My heart is very sad when I read how cruel and mean some people are!! It breaks my heart to think someone would make fun of my girl and tell her she's not worthy of coming to America and having a family.As I try and type thru my tears I can't explain how my heart is acheing for my precious daughter. She has lived in an orphange her whole life with alot of disabilities and never been made to feel as if she was worth anything.She has always dreamed of having a family!And now someone is trying to take her joy away about that and make her feel unworthy!!How dare them SHAME SHAME SHAME! I ask for you to keep me in your prayers also. Because I'm a very nice person UNTIL you mess with my babies and then not so nice. I pray things will speed up even more and I can get her home and give her the life she's always deserved. I love her so much!!and she's so very special to us.She does matter and she needs to know this. I thank God for my sweet friend Tammy who is tutoring her in english for me.She is so kind and when this was brought to her attention she IMMEDIATELY stopped tutoring and begin to reassure my precious girl how IMPORTANT and LOVED she is !!and how we know about her disabilities and we love her just the way she is!!! She said they had the translater to tell her many times to make sure that she understood.Thank God for caring people like her! I can't wait for Aubrey to have all her dreams come true and have her own family and home.Her own bed and clothes.and her own little pack of siblings that have her back! Let me tell ya!  She has some protective sisters and brothers that have her back. Praying for great news today!My girl needs me now!She needs to be with people who love and support her. On a positive note, my friend said she's a great student and is trying very hard. Baby girl you'll be just fine.We'll get you all the help you need. Love mom

My God is never late!!!!! LOA

We'll it's been a while since I've posted an update! We've had our ups and downs dealing with several different issues.But Thank God when I'm feeling down and sorry for myself he's always there for me.I have gotten several updates on my precious girl!!She is doing great and getting excited about coming home with her family!! Hoping to get new pictures soon!Will update when I do. We'll we finally got our LOA!! I know WOOOOHOOOOO! One step closer to my sweet girl being with her forever family. My God is so awesome and never fails to show up for me just when I need him the most! I ask you'll to add us to your prayer lists for fast I800 approval and that God will be prepare my precious girl for all the love she's about to get.Also for a wonderful safe trip! Hoping my girl can have her first Christmas with a family!! Yes she's nine but probaly never even got to celebrate.Can't wait to show my girl what family is all about!!Her family that loves her so much already!!! Been working on her room to keep myself busy.Ordered her bed which should arrive next week.That will be exciting. Hoping to update soon with I800 approval and new pictures!! God Bless you all!

WAITING AND WAITING!!!

We'll not much has happened since last post.Just waiting for LOA!! I will have I 800 ready to be mailed out. We sent or sweet girl another package and are currently waiting on an update and hopefully new pictures!! The wait is really hard now!So close but she is so far away !! I did find out my girls favorite song.It is so sweet and guess what its about?A girl and her mama and baba and how she wants kisses and hugs. and how she really doesn't know what love is.Sweet girl were going to show you really really soon!! I'm so excited!!I just can't contain myself.My God is so awesome.He is helping us bring our precious girl home!!Drum Roll Please, LID Sept 20th 2012 woooohoooo!!! SOOOO EXCITED!!!

Goodmorning to all!!Boy God really know's how to cheer a girl up!! Just heard back about Aubrey's english tutor!!! They said they have found a college student who would go tutor her as much as I'd like for a small costs of course. I'm so excited for her!!I want things to be as easy on her as possible when she meets her new family.I thank God everyday for the wonderful people he has let me meet and put me in contact with.Regular updates on my precious girl several times a week!Updated pics!and now her tutoring!!God has got this!He is showing me everyday I just need to cast my cares upon him because he's the one in control. I would like to ask everyone to keep us in your prayers as we go thru the grieving process of lossing my stepdad!!He was a wonderful man who raised me since I've been ten years old.He was the greatest papa ever!!Involved in everything his grandkids did.!He really wanted to meet Aubrey! But we will meet again someday and he will see and meet his new granddaughter.I also pray that God will work his wonder's and bless us fiancially, I don't want money to hold up my adoption.My sweet sweet girl is excited about her new family and I can't wait to start making new precious memories for my angel. I really need to get on the ball! Thanks to all who have been so supportive and not ran when they seen us coming with another fundraiser.God has his way of really showing you true friends!!I thank God for you'll everyday. Update on my sweet girl!!!

We'll this is going to be a fabulous day!!!!Woke up this morning to an update about my girl!!! Thank you to my very special friend Tammy!!!! She got to observe my girl in class today!She said my girl is so beautiful the pictures i have don't show the way her beautiful eyes light up when she smiles!! She said she kept looking up smiling at her.But she was busy doing her school work! When the teacher came out in the hall and talked with them a bit and she said that the class and everyone knew that Aubrey had a new family!! See now everytime she see's my friend she'll know mama sent her to checkup on my girl! I wanted to know her favorite color?So the teacher ask her and guess what??She's her mother's daughter PINK!! I'm so excited my body still feels like it is shaking!!She was right their with my sweet girl!!  Guess mom needs to buy lot's of pink!! Hoping to  get Dossier to agency this week and sent to China for LID!! Gotta get this ball rolling I have a special package waiting on me!!! Love and blessings everyone!!

WOOHOOO I800A APPROVED!!

Wow ,what a day!God knows just what I need .Didn't have such a wonderful day.I called USCIS and they told me that they hadn't received the additional info they needed yet.We'll when I gave them tracking confirmation showing someone their had signed for my documents,then they proceeded to tell me they had five days to have it delivered to them from the mail room.Your kidding right??? But I surprisngly controlled my temper when I could feel my blood starting to boil.But I thought kill them with kindness.So I proceeded to tell them I was sorry for bothering them and I know they must get thousands of calls a day BUT. Then I started to tell them about my sweet girl and how she really needs her family!! Got an email from the same case worker I couldn't even get a call back from saying she had everything done and I was APPROVED!!! WOOOOHOOOO!! She even had smiley faces and APPROVED in capital letters!!! Tell me GOD is not so incredibly AWESOME!! One step closer my sweet sweet girl!! Keep my family in your prayers please!!

No words could describe the mess I was when I opened this email!!! Funny what feeling like you belong and someone giving you hope will do!!! WOW MY GOD IS SO AWESOME!!!

Today was a very productive day!We Got our fingerprints done today!I know WOOOHOOO!!But the best news ever!!! Are you ready??? I recently joined a blog for people with children from Shenzen Guangdong hoping to learn more about where my daughter is from and really hoping to see a glimpse of her in others pictures who had already traveled to get their sweet children! Little did I know what a wonderful oportunity God had lead me to!! Are you ready for this??? I'm now friends with an american lady who lives in Shenzen City and works at my daughters orphange!!!!!! Now for the best part!!! She knows my precious girl and has for YEARS!!!! I'm so excited I can't hardly contain myself!!! God is so wonderful!!I can't wait to talk with this lady and learn as much about my sweet girl as possible. I'm praying that maybe she'll work on some english with my baby girl!!! I can't wait to see some pics of her when she was smaller and learn about her personality!Her likes and dislikes,everything!!! I have so much to catch up on.Can't believe she can see my precious little blessing each and everyday!! Finger printing!!!! and how our sweet girl got her name!!

We'll moving right along to the next step in our adoption!!! USCIS fingerprinting!! Funny how much faster this part moves with the senator's office involved. We have been working really hard on getting everything completed so when we get this approval all Dossier papers will be ready to move. I think about my sweet girl night and day!! Can't wait to give her all the LOVE she's missed out on all these years. I have also started to babysit to help pay adoption fees also.So needless to say we're staying pretty busy.But I guess busy is good for my mind right now. Can't wait to start on her room!1But have to wait till I get a break in some of these FEES. Just send lot's of prayers up for my family and my sweet daughter Aubrey!! So while were on Aubrey I must tell you why we named her Aubrey!! My DADDY!! I lost my sweet dad about a year and a half ago.My dad was a different kinda guy.When he was younger and in good health he was the sharpest dressed man around.Always perfect,not a hair out of place suit on even to go grocery shopping!And shoes were always so shiny not a smudge in sight. He was also a very good cook but would never tell any of his secrets!! My dad was a kind man and he really loved his family!He had such a hard time expressing himself though.But you just knew!My dad done a little bit of everything,including flying planes! Which I would never go up with him NO WAY to scared!! He would just laugh!! But then when my dad was diagnoised with a brain tumor and had surgery to save his life he was never really the same.But we still loved him.Alot changed for my dad over the years and it was almost like he kinda gave up.He didn't feel proud of himself anymore.I sure wish I'd told him I was still proud of him.To make a very long story short dad didn't think he was special anymore.But he was!! He would be so excited if he knew our sweet girl was named after her late grandfather. Dad was funny the way he talked,never meant anything bad by the way he talked he was just very blunt!! He would say Lisa I can't believe I'm grandpa to Chinese!Now that would offend some people but not me. Not coming from dad.He was so proud he told everyone he knew! He would just go on and on about how smart they were or how he loved their black hair. Or how Noah could walk right under his kitchen table and not even bump his head. My dads name was Aubrey! Funny how this was a popular name for men in the 60's and now a popular name for girls!! So we thought it would be perfect for such a special little lady to be named after her very special grandfather Aubrey Lee Pitcock.I know my dad is looking down with a big smile on that sweet little face of his.Funny thing is when I stare at pictures of Aubrey, I think she kinda looks like my dad when he was a young child.So here's to you DAD!!

Aubrey's Birthday!!!

This morning as I get up I can't help thinking about my sweet fragile girl a world away is celebrating her birthday!!!! Without her family once again. I hope she got the package we sent so she has some encouragement and hope.I couldn't imagine year after year having friends come and go and always wondering if your turn would ever come,Before it's to late.So I ask all of you to say a sweet special little prayer for my sweetie today.That God would protect and comfort her and let her know next birthday will be much different.A couple days ago I found a support group for Aubrey's province!I was so excited!! And while staying up all night going thru everyones pictures trying to get a glimpse of my girl,Yep I sure did!!Only a mother would just know right.I found a couple picture but the first was the top of her head and then you could see her very fragile little arm.Call me crazy but I just knew it was her!! So as I kept searching sure enough their was another from the back of course But I'll take what I can get.Her sweet little fragile body, that black thick hair.she had the same pants that she had on in referral picture and a little lavendar shirt and I could see her little legs and feet.Her little feet have scars from surgery on the back of them with the same little shoes as in her previous pictures.Sobbing like a crazy lady I was so happy just to get a glimpse of my sweet sweet birthday girl!!Sure wish I could have seen her little face to see her expression but maybe next time. I'm so thankful for this support group because I couldn't find pictures of her orphange anywhere.Not even on the adoption sites that usually show all of them. BUt their was a lady who just visited and took lot's of pictures.So i got to look into Aubrey's little world a bit. I love you sweet girl!!!Happy Birthday mother wishes you were here with us today!!!

Where did Summer go???

We'll yesterday was Mia's and Blake's orientation at school!!I must say I wasn't excited!!! I'm sad Summer is coming to an end!!I love my whole family being home most of the time.Even though their have been moments where they didn't like each other very much,I still enjoy our family time.Hard to believe little Mia will be starting kindergarden this year and Blake will be graduating!!Boy this just doesn't seem real!!! Then my sweet Madison will have her orientation tonight!She will be a big 5th grader!!Where do the years go??She will be in middle school next year!! Can we just stop the clock PLEASE!!My babies are growing up!!! As we were touring the schools I couldn't help to think about my other sweet angel waiting for us in China, and how excited she would probaly be to get to go to school with her siblings. My girls birthday is Aug the 6th she will be NINE years old!! Wish she could be home for her special day! But we sent her a small box with somethings we think she will enjoy including a photo of her family along with a translated letter from mom and dad and of course her big sister Madison!! We told her sometimes adoption can take what seems to be forever but when she's feeling lonely to look at her photo book and know she's very loved and mom and her family are working very hard to bring her home ASAP!! Have you ever considered ADOPTION??If so PLEASE don't let you fears keep you from doing this WONDERFUL life changing thing!! God will bless you in ways you couldn't even imagine!! My life would have never been the same without all my very special children.They have all BLESSED me in so many ways !and all in their own special ways!! All the money in the world couldn't compare to the blessings they add to my life!! My sweet Blake's birthday will be in just a couple days also Aug the 11th he will be 18 yrs old!!! My first precious little black headed angel will be a man!!BOY how the years have flown by.Son you have made me an extremely proud mother!!You have such a smart and level headed man!!Not a follower.I'm so PROUD of you!!You will make a wonderful Pediatrician someday!!Yes I said Pediatrician!!He has set big goals for himself!!Nothing less than the best for such a wonderful young man!! Love Mom

God is so awesome!!!

We'll alot has been going on around our house the last couple weeks!!Lot's of excitement!Some discouraging times.But We must remember God is always in control!! Sometimes we can't always understand things that happen and the reasoning behind it.but we must remember who's in control!!My sweet Aubrey's birthday is Aug The 6th so we sent her a small birthday package with a photo album of her family and a few other items we think she'll enjoy!Will post new pics if we get some. I have had a great couple of days with God showing me in many ways he's in control! It's easy to get discouraged when thinks don't always seem to go as we'll as we had wished for!But in the end GOD is the answer he's the only one we really need!! I pray my sweet girl has a great birthday and can feel the love we have for her. Hopefully I can update with new pics soon!!!Blessings Lisa

Have you evey wondered if everyone that is going thru the adoption process feels the sameway? I think men and women handle this kind of stuff totally diffent!!Yesterday I thought about my sweet girl most of the day!!Guess i should clarify since I have THREE! My sweet Aubrey!While my husband and I were walking around our neighborhood I ask him!Do you ever think about her??And he said yeah sometimes!Do you??Every waking moment!!Dont you wonder what she's doing right now?and what's she thinking about?Wondering if she's cool from the heat or if she's had enough to eat today? Wondering if she's wondering why it takes so long for her family to come get her? Wondering if we've changed our minds because we're not their yet? We'll baby girl let me tell you one thing!!That will never happen!!Mommy is working very hard to come and bring you home where you belong with your family!!And nothing they could say would ever change my mind!! God will lead us to you!I pray for your piece,safety and comfort until we arrive.We hope to make all your dreams come true!! Or as many as possible!!Can't wait to see my girl with a big smile on that very pettite little face! and a little meat on her sweet bones!Little is fine we're used to little but I need to know she has had the right nutrition and care!HOLD ON SWEET GIRL WERE WORKING!! VERY MEANINGFUL FUNDRAISER FOR OUR SWEET GIRL!!!

I have met some of the sweetest people ever,In this adoption process!! We have a very meaningful adoption fundraiser coming up Sept 14th from 5-9 at Primary Pottery here in Georgetown! This will really mean alot to our girl when she is home and can understand how special she was to all our family and friends! Our adoption fundraiser is called,HANDS OF FAITH If you comeout the night of our fundraiser everyone will do a 6X6 tile with your handprint and your families name!We will put all these on a wall downstairs in our home with something that will say all the hands that had a part in bringing you home!How awesome is that!! Then we will take a bigger tile when she arrives home and do her hand prints to put in the middle.I think this will mean so much to her when she can understand english,and how all these wonderful generous people were helping her get to her forever family!! We will serve light refreshments which will be free! Please everyone let my girl know how very specail she really is!! Even if you can't make it that night you can go in anyday and tell Melinda their you would like to donate to HANDS OF FAITH ! SHE IS AWESOME!Very sweet lady! This is probaly the most meaningful fundraiser we will do!!Can we count on you to show our sweet girl support?? I have lot's of adoptive friends that will really understand just how important and special this will be to our precious girl who has had a really hard start!! I would also like to ask for your prayers that this would have a huge turnout for our girl!!

Yardsale fundraiser!!

Boy was it hot!! But God still blessed us with great success with our fundraising yardsale.Thanks to my wonderful mother who sit out their and helped me the whole time in 108. degree weather!She 's simply one of a kind!! I have the best mother ever!! Also thanks to all my wonderful friends who came by just to tell me happy birthday!!You guy's are great!!

One Happy Mommie!!!

Wow God is so totally awesome!!After having a really rough day emotionally yesterday!!What do I wake up to???But AN UPDATE ABOUT OUR PRECIOUS GIRL!! Boy God sure knows how to make this mama feel better!! I will post pics later on when i have some help doing so!I'm new at this so bare with me while I'm learning!! But the awesome things I now know about my sweet Aubrey are!!Drum roll please!!!!! SHE IS VERY VERY HAPPY SHE HAS A FAMILY!! She would love to have siblings!!!She does have a tutor that comes to work with her. She loves to sing and watch tv!!I think she'll LOVE her sister Madison!! She is very gentle,outgoing, and gets along well with others!!! She likes to play with toy cars and draw!!Boy she will sure love her brothers room!! We have tons of cars!! I also got new measurements.She is healthy other than seasonal cold when seasons change. She is afraid of snakes!!No problem their because mama is very scared of them also!! She loves loves chocolate ice cream and peanuts!!You know where we'll be going when we pick her up!YEP, to get chocolate icecream!!She doesn't like spicy food.She shares a room with another girl but has her own bed.This is prefect because Madison really wants to share a room with her so she'll probaly like that!! She loves outdoor activities!!Anyone who knows my family,this is a very good thing because we practically live outdoors when weather is permitting!! Can you please stop cutting all my angels hair off?and their response was SURE!! We will also be looking into a tutor to help her with some basic english so meeting her family will be a bit easier on her!!WOW I'm completely thrilled!!God is so AWESOME!! New pictues will be posted later!!HAPPY FOURTH EVERYONE!!! God bless
